Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the electrical crew on the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI. This role supports the 2nd shift, focusing on daily supervision, safety, quality, and productivity within a high-volume submarine construction environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work with multiple trades to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supervising a crew in a high-volume environment is preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate and coordinate with multi-trade teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily assignments and coordinate employees to maximize performance, efficiency and quality.
• Organize and assign work to hourly staff to meet safety, schedule and cost objectives.
• continually improve operations, reduce work order span times, and ensure first-time quality on time.
