Job summary

Orion is seeking an experienced Project Manager for marine construction in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role focuses on leading project management, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and profitability on complex marine and heavy civil projects.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering or construction management background with extensive self-perform construction experience in marine contexts. This is an on-site, Hawaii-based position with strong local preference.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of construction experience.
• Experience in marine/construction that is self-perform is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management leadership to Orion's marine construction projects in Hawaii.
• Develop bid packages and monitor project costs.
• Negotiate contracts and change orders; manage procurement and scheduling.
• Interface with field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients; ensure safety, quality, and profitability.
