Job summary

East West Hospitality seeks a Community Association Manager to lead the Mauna Lani Resort Association on Hawaiʻi’s Kohala Coast. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, partner with the Board, manage budgets, and ensure service excellence across a premier resort community.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in community association management or luxury resort environments, strong financial acumen, and a valid Hawaiʻi real estate broker license. Position is full-time with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in community association management or luxury resort operations.
• Experience working directly with Boards of Directors and stakeholders with strong communication.
• Strong budgeting, financial statement review, forecasting, and capital planning skills.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, facilities, and assets with a proactive approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, community association management, real estate, or related field; CMCA/AMS/PCAM preferred.
• Hawai'i Real Estate Broker License active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Mauna Lani Resort Association as East West Hospitality’s senior on-site representative and primary operational partner to the Board.
• Build a strong relationship with the Board and provide operational insight and information for decision-making.
• Develop and manage the Association’s annual operating budget and long-term financial priorities.
• Monitor financial performance, expenditures, contracts, and reserves to ensure stewardship.
• Oversee maintenance of common areas, facilities, infrastructure, and shoreline properties.
• Travel throughout the Mauna Lani community as needed.
