Job summary

Roberts Hawaii is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee island operations, including tours, transportation services, and school bus operations. The role partners with the Hawaii Island General Manager and statewide leadership to meet financial targets and safety standards.

You will lead staff, ensure contract compliance, and drive efficiency and guest satisfaction while maintaining high safety protocols across all services in Hawaii.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating tours, transportation, school bus services, and dispatch.
• Ability to ensure contractual compliance and service quality.
• Strong budgeting, planning, and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations across tours, transportation, school bus services, airport activities, dispatch, and admin functions.
• Oversee staff utilization, training, and productivity to boost performance.
• Lead and manage staff to meet policies, contracts, and safety standards.
• Ensure service quality and contract compliance across partnerships.
• Communicate priorities and align team goals with org objectives.
• Monitor safety compliance through audits, training, and supervision.
• Analyze expenses and budgeting to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Provide resources and performance tracking to sustain high standards.
• Adapt activities to exceed KPIs and support cross‑department goals.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and use data to inform senior management decisions.
• Utilize technology to optimize workflows and safety.
• Manage facilities, equipment, and workspace maintenance.
• Participate in contract negotiations for equipment and supplies.
