Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Chef for a high-volume, upscale-casual operation in Hawaii. You will lead day-to-day kitchen operations, drive consistent execution, and own financial performance while building and retaining an exceptional culinary team.

The role represents the company’s entry into Hawaii, with a base salary of $120,000+ plus performance incentives and a generous relocation package.

Qualifications

• Proven Chef or senior culinary leadership experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food cost, labor, inventory, ordering, and kitchen systems.
• Demonstrated success building, developing, and retaining teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day culinary operations and uphold established systems and standards.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, portioning, and service execution.
• Manage food cost, labor, inventory, purchasing, and kitchen productivity.
• Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and retain a high-performing culinary team.
• Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, consistency, and respect.
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Partner with the General Manager and regional leadership to deliver strong operational and guest-experience results.
