Job summary

CMA CGM Group in Honolulu is seeking a Cargo Flow Officer to manage import/export shipments, cause quick resolution of issues, and support overall business strategy. The role balances customer service, finance, and operations to ensure smooth vessel and equipment logistics and timely information for customers.

The position demands 3–5 years of shipping experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years general experience in shipping/logistics.
• Knowledge of vessel and equipment operations and maritime shipping industry.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage import/export shipments including bill of lading release, booking creation/confirmation, rate validation, and tariff filing.
• Address customer inquiries via email/phone and ensure government regulations and company policies compliance.
• Research and resolve import/export issues, liaising with internal teams and external customers to minimize service failures.
• Produce and issue load/transportation orders and related operating reports.
