• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry items as part of cargo handling.
• Must be able to qualify for U.S. CBP seal.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays.
• Basic typing and computer skills required.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Routes inbound and outbound air freight shipments to their destinations.
• Receives orders from customers and arranges pickup and delivery to loading platform.
• Assembles cargo according to destination.
• Weighs items and determines cost using established tariffs.
• Direct or participate in cargo loading to ensure full and balanced weight.
• Itemizes charges, prepares freight bills, accepts payments, and issues refunds.
• Prepares manifest to accompany shipments.
• Adhere to required security procedures and hazmat handling requirements.
• Unloads inbound freight and notifies consignees on arrival for delivery.
• Perform operations with loading/unloading of mail.
• Able to scan and assemble mail according to destination.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
