Job summary

Aloha Air Cargo in Honolulu, HI seeks a Schedule Optimization role to coordinate interdepartmental activities for safe, efficient flight operations and payload maximization. You will work with Cargo Operations, Flight Operations, and Sales to manage schedules and contingencies.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and comfort with Excel/Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Self-starter, able to work independently
• Familiarity with safety directives and union environments is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure safe, efficient flight operations and maximize payloads
• Drive daily collaboration with Cargo Operations to process freight and mail timely
• Coordinate changes to the daily flight schedule across Company departments
• Coordinate charters, flag stops and ad hoc movements as requested by Sales
• Ensure safe operation by coordinating with Flight Operations, Crew Scheduling and Flight Crews
• Create and maintain data reports to identify trends supporting Schedule Optimization
• Identify hazards and report safety violations, maintaining situational awareness
• Manage corrective actions for safety or contractual issues as needed
• Provide liaison between customers and the Company on operational directions and safety requirements
