Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Midwest Agg, Inc. is seeking a safety-focused Haul Truck Driver to join our quarry operations. You will transport raw materials throughout the quarry and support the production process in a demanding outdoor setting.

You will perform pre/post-shift inspections, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with plant and quarry personnel to meet production goals. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Job description

Line of Business: Aggregates About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. We are seeking a safety-focused and dependable Haul Truck Driver to join our quarry operations team. In this role, you will support the production process by transporting raw materials throughout the quarry while contributing to a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the quarry.
  • Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Follow established traffic patterns, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with plant and quarry personnel to support production goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while promoting a culture of safety.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
