Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Southwest Agg LLC is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to safely move raw materials within the plant or quarry. You will perform pre-shift inspections, monitor loads, and coordinate with teammates to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires a strong commitment to safety, the ability to work independently or in a team, and basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting in varying weather. Starting pay is $22.98 per hour DOE, with full benefits.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate haul trucks to safely transport raw materials within the plant or quarry.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and perform basic maintenance on equipment.

• Support plant operations by assisting with general labor tasks as needed.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
