Job summary

The New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) is seeking an Investigative Analyst for the Hate Crimes Unit in the Trial Division. The Analyst will help build and enhance hate crime cases and manage large-scale data collection, organization, and analysis.

Responsibilities include creating visual aids for investigations and trial use, testifying about analytic processes, and coordinating data from surveillance, social media, phone records, and other sources to support ADAs and complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and one year of paralegal experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree + two years OR
• Bachelor’s degree + three years of experience in criminal justice paralegal work
• Master’s degree can substitute for years of experience

Responsibilities

• Assist ADAs in developing long-term investigations into bias-motivated activity.
• Create PowerPoints, graphs, diagrams, and other visual aids for investigations, grand jury proceedings, and trial presentations.
