Tyson Foods Robards Hatchery in Robards, Kentucky is hiring for a 1st shift Hatchery Worker. This entry-level role involves performing hatchery tasks, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies. Expected shift is 3:30 a.m.

to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, with a pay of $18 per hour. Responsibilities include moving heavy racks, sanitation work, and adherence to animal welfare guidelines while handling eggs and chicks.

Qualifications

• This is an entry-level hatchery position.
• Must maintain safety and sanitation.
• Able to perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Move racks of product weighing approximately 900 lbs or greater throughout the day (about 48 racks).
• Box products and maintain a clean, safe workspace by operating equipment and performing sanitation duties.
• Handle eggs and chicks safely according to Animal Welfare Guidelines.
• Lift up to 30 lbs and stand, walk, bend, reach for long shifts (up to 10+ hours).
• Follow Tyson policies and procedures and complete tasks as assigned.
