Tyson Foods in Humboldt, TN is hiring for a hatchery position on the 1st shift (Mon Tue Thu Fri, 5:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.), with 10-hour days and an environment featuring temperatures from 65 to 99 degrees and high humidity. Pay is $16.95 per hour.

The role includes culling unthrift chicks, cleaning incubation equipment, and maintaining a safe, compliant work area. PPE is provided and holidays on schedule are required.

Qualifications

• WORK ALL HOLIDAYS WHICH OCCURS ON SCHEDULED WORKDAY
• 180 days wait period from last termination date
• 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)

Responsibilities

• Culling unthrifty chicks from chick line during process to help send a healthy chick to broilers.
• Cleaning and sanitizing the inside and outside of incubation machines, hallways, plenum hallway, drains, and various other locations throughout facility.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
