Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a sanitation worker to clean and sanitize equipment and production areas in a poultry processing environment. You will teardown machinery at shift start and assist with morning setup before production begins.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic math, and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and extended hours. Safety gear and procedures must be followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work unsupervised and stay motivated.
• Comfort with night and weekend shifts and extended hours.
• Collaborate with supervisors and coworkers effectively.
• Demonstrates honesty and reliable character.
• Understand teardown/setup of basic machinery.
• Experience with cleaning parts and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals to clean and sanitize all machinery and areas.
• Teardown machinery at the start of cleanup shifts.
• Assist with setup before production begins.
• Perform duties assigned by supervisor and sanitation manager.
• Follow directions from management and other departments.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
