Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks a sanitation associate to clean and maintain a production area in our Alabama facility. You will sanitize machinery, tear down equipment at shift start, and assist with setup before production begins each morning.

You'll follow safety policies, wear PPE, and collaborate with supervisors and teammates to keep lines running smoothly. Prior poultry experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated candidates with basic math and cleaning skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math functions and skills.
• Poultry experience preferred but not required.
• Basic chemical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all machinery and areas assigned.
• Tear down machinery at beginning of cleanup shift.
• Assist setup before production starts in the morning.
• Follow directions from supervisors and perform other duties as needed.
• Work in other departments as required.
