Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Hatchery Sanitation Tech for the 2nd shift at the Union Springs Hatchery in Alabama. The role focuses on cleaning and maintaining sanitation across assigned areas, handling chemical mixtures, and supporting early morning setups to ensure production readiness.

You will work unsupervised with a team, comply with safety policies, wear PPE, and adapt to a wet, cold environment while standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shifts.
• Experience with cleaning and sanitizing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals to clean and sanitize machinery and areas assigned to.
• Tear down machinery at beginning of cleanup shift.
• Help setup before production starts up in the morning.
• Follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor and sanitation manager.
