Perdue Farms in Norlina, NC is seeking a Hatchery Production Associate to help deliver high-quality chicks and maintain precise incubation conditions. You will perform hands-on hatchery tasks, monitor environmental factors, and support efficient operations, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong reading and writing skills.
• Reliable, adaptable and detail-oriented with good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive, set, and transfer approximately 991,440 eggs per week with minimal damage.
• Clean and sanitize the hatchery environment, supporting allergenic and pest-control efforts.
• Operate tray wash and/or separator machines for optimal throughput with minimal product damage.
• Transport and process approximately 250,000 chicks daily with accurate distribution and quality control.
• Follow management directives and SOPs to maintain safety and productivity while fostering team morale.
