Job summary

Perdue Farms seeks a Hatchery Production Associate to join our team, focusing on maintaining incubation environments and supporting high-quality chick production. You will handle egg reception, transfer, cleaning, and equipment operation with strict adherence to SOPs to ensure product excellence.

Your role involves moving and processing large volumes, collaborating with teammates, and upholding Perdue’s safety standards to protect yourself and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks per SOP.

Responsibilities

• Receive, set, and transfer ~991,440 eggs per week with minimal damage.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize hatchery equipment and facility.
• Operate tray wash and separator machines for high throughput.
• Transport and process ~250,000 chicks daily with quality control.
• Follow management instructions and SOPs while supporting the team.
