Job summary

Perdue Farms in Kenly, NC is seeking a Hatchery Production Associate to support incubation, hatching, and chick care, while maintaining precise environmental conditions and product quality. • Reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, set, and transfer approximately 991,440 eggs per week, ensuring minimal damage and high hatchability.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize the hatchery and equipment to reduce mold and bacteria.
• Operate tray wash and/or separator machines to maximize throughput with minimal product damage.
• Safely transport and process approximately 250,000 chicks daily with accurate distribution and quality control.
• Follow management direction and SOPs to support hatchery operations and team morale.
