Perdue Farms in Cromwell, KY, is seeking a Hatchery Production Associate to support incubation, hatching, and chick care, ensuring precise environmental conditions for high-quality outputs. You will contribute to delivering top-quality products to growers and customers while upholding Perdue's standards of safety, teamwork, and excellence.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and collaboration, with a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 5:30am-3:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, set, and transfer approximately 991,440 eggs per week, with minimal damage and maximum hatchability.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize the hatchery, including equipment, to reduce mold and bacteria.
• Operate tray wash and/or separator machines for maximum throughput with minimal product damage.
• Transport and process approximately 250,000 chicks daily with accurate distribution and quality control.
• Perform duties as directed by management in a timely, efficient manner per SOPs while fostering team spirit.
