Job summary

Perdue Farms, in Trion, Georgia, seeks a Hatchery Production Associate to support incubation, hatching, and chick care with strict adherence to environmental controls and quality standards. This hands-on role requires attention to detail and commitment to safety to ensure healthy chicks and a reliable production flow for Perdue Farms growers.

You will work in a fast-paced hatchery environment, performing egg reception, sanitation, equipment operation, and chick processing while maintaining

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and write.
Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Receive, set, and transfer eggs weekly with minimal damage to maximize hatchability.
Clean and sanitize hatchery areas, including equipment and duct work, to reduce mold and bacteria.
Operate tray wash or separator machines to maximize throughput with minimal product damage.
Transport and process chicks daily with accurate distribution and quality control.
Follow management directions and SOPs while promoting teamwork and morale.
