Job summary

Cobb Three Springs Farm in Rose, OK is hiring for an animal husbandry role. Attends to hens and roosters, inspects eggs for incubation, and handles feed weighing and data recording within a biosecure environment.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with additional shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends. Benefits are available from day one for full-time hires and a comprehensive package includes health, dental, vision, disability and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps over 6 months in past 36 months.
• Internal applicants receive priority consideration for the role.

Responsibilities

• Attend to and care for hens and roosters; inspect eggs for quality for incubation.
• Weigh feed for up to 10 hoppers and monitor bird weights up to 15 lb.
• Clean waterers, floors and egg room; perform routine housekeeping.
• Record egg numbers, bird weights, medications, feed intake and mortality.
• Collect eggs, record hen numbers on eggs; use scanners for data entry.
• Monitor illumination, temperature and ventilation; maintain sanitary conditions.
