Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a Cobb Three Springs Farm position in Rose, OK. Schedule includes Sundays to Wednesdays or Wednesdays to Saturdays with potential holidays; hours 6:30 am–4:30 pm with variations by production needs.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with additional shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends. The role involves caring for hens and roosters, weighing feed, collecting eggs, monitoring environments, and recording data.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no major employment gaps in the past 36 months.
• If laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap may be up to 18 months.
• Rehire criteria: no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.

Responsibilities

• Weigh proper amounts of feed for up to 10 hoppers, up to 100 pounds each; monitor water and weigh birds up to 15 pounds.
• Clean waterers and walls, sweep floors and maintain a clean egg room; perform routine housekeeping.
• Record data such as egg numbers, bird weight, medications, feed intake and mortality.
• Inspect poultry for diseases and euthanize per policy; remove dead poultry from flock.
• Collect eggs, record hen numbers, use scanners to log data; move egg crates and handle heavy items.
• Monitor illumination, temperature, ventilation; sanitize break areas and vehicles.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
