Tyson Foods is seeking a Hatchery Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation of a specific hatchery, ensuring timely chick delivery, correct logging, and adherence to the shipment schedule. You will monitor incubation and environmental controls, supervise staff, and coordinate vaccination and egg grading activities.

The role requires at least 2 years of hatchery experience, post-high school education, and basic computer skills. Travel is minimal and relocation to the site may be required.

Qualifications

• Post-high school education with vocational or college courses.
• 2 years of hatchery or live production experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete chick delivery sheets, flock pull sheets and mortality charts.
• Logistics: move chicks to farms according to the shipment schedule.
• Oversee incubation, hatchery and environmental control equipment.
• Supervise personnel daily.
• Grade eggs from hen farms and prepare vaccines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
