Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks a hands-on Hatchery Supervisor to oversee hatching, pulling, vaccinating, and handling Cobb eggs and chicks at our Arkansas operation. You will supervise a small team, ensure accurate customer egg packing and shipments, and maintain sanitation and biosecurity standards.

The role involves training, coaching, and enforcing safety and quality programs while coordinating daily hatchery activities and egg depot operations. Travel is occasional and the shift is 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Experience: College degree or equivalent experience with some related leadership experience preferred.
• Accountability: Entry-level professional position supervising a small group of non-exempt team members (clerical, administrative, and production).
• Ability to work independently and evaluate alternatives when procedures are not covered by written guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate hatching, pulling, vaccinating, and handling Cobb eggs and chicks.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of customer egg packing and shipments.
• Serve as a certified Embrex trainer and vaccine mixer.
• Maintain hatchery sanitation and supervise biosecurity procedures.
• Oversee daily hatchery maintenance and egg depot responsibilities.
• Ensure customer order accuracy and quality.
• Interpret company policies to team members and support safety programs.
