Job summary

Tyson Foods in the United States is seeking a Hatchery Supervisor to oversee daily hatchery operations, monitor chick deliveries, mortality, charts, and the movement of chicks to farms per the shipment schedule. You will supervise staff and coordinate with transportation and production teams.

Post-high school education or vocational training and at least 2 years in hatchery/live production; basic computer skills; biosecurity compliance; travel 1–2 trips per year; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Post-high school education or vocational training completed.
• At least 2 years’ hatchery or live production experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Willingness to travel 1–2 trips per year.
• Must sign a Bio-security agreement.

Responsibilities

• Complete chick delivery, flock pull, and mortality charts.
• Log truck miles and hours worked by drivers; manage shipment schedules.
• Oversee incubation, hatchery, and environmental equipment.
• Supervise personnel in the department daily.
• Vaccinate chickens as instructed; perform other duties as needed.
