Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with an Associate’s Degree or equivalent vocational certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of directly related experience, or equivalent experience accepted in lieu of education.
• Directly related work experience will be accepted on a year-for-year basis in lieu of the educational requirement.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Hatchery to produce high-quality chicks with optimal hatch rates.
• Ensure compliance with Animal Welfare guidelines.
• Plan production, spending, and capital improvements.
• Control labor, repair, supply, and vaccine costs.
• Prepare monthly reports on hatchery performance.
• Consult with the company veterinarian for changes.

Education

Associate’s Degree or completion of Vocational/Technical certification

Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
