Job summary

America's Heartland Packing in Wright City, MO is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee general maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical/electronic systems, and welding. You will lead a team, manage daily tasks, and ensure all safety and GMP requirements are met.

The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and hands-on involvement with machinery setup, inspection, and repair. You will coordinate with production and quality teams, maintain paperwork, and ensure timely PMs

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a supervisor role.
• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
• English literacy for reading work orders and manuals.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead up to 10 team members to perform daily tasks and paperwork.
• Organize and implement mechanical and engineering projects.
• Ensure all PMs and daily paperwork are completed.
• Ensure production lines are in good mechanical order.
• Aid other teams (Production, Quality) as needed.
• Follow GMPs and Safety Practices.
• Set up machinery, perform visual inspections, test, and tear down machinery.
• Detect abnormal sounds and discuss machine issues with supervisors.
• Dismantle defective machines and install new parts.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts.
