Harvest Floor Operator – Multi-Species Processing in Mansfield, OH is seeking a reliable candidate to join a tight-knit team on the 1st shift, Monday–Friday. Pay ranges from $20 to $30 per hour based on experience, with growth opportunities as equipment and processes scale.

The role covers all phases of the harvest process across beef, pork, lamb and goat. It requires physical stamina and strict safety protocol adherence, with hands-on training to develop knife skills and animal-handling

Qualifications

• Harvest/process experience preferred, on-the-floor exposure beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced facility.
• Physically able to stand, lift, and work in varied temperatures.
• Knife skills or interest in developing them on the job.
• English reading and communication required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of the harvest process: stunning through trimming.
• Handle livestock humanely in line with welfare standards.
• Trim and weigh carcasses to meet quality expectations.
• Maintain knife edge and keep equipment in good condition.
• Keep stations and floor clean and sanitized at all times.
• Follow HACCP and food safety protocols consistently.
• Support barn duties and assist with sanitation at shift end.
• Contribute to a close-knit production team.
