Job summary

Johnsonville Watertown is seeking Harvest Floor Members to cut and prepare sow carcasses for sausage production, while removing hide and organs and inspecting carcasses for quality. You will learn multiple line-speed functions, keeping knives and tools clean and sharp while following GMP and safety policies.

The role offers a 5:45am to 2:15pm schedule, with overtime as production demands. Pay is $25.23/hr with potential for monthly bonuses and strong benefits; applicants must be 18+ and pass

Qualifications

• Teamwork is essential on the Harvest Floor.
• Ability to coach peers and share best practices.
• Knife skills experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Cut sow carcasses and prepare for sausage processing.
• Remove hide and internal organs, trim and inspect carcasses.
• Clean, sharpen, and maintain knives, tools and equipment.
• Learn and perform several job functions in the department at line speed.
• Adhere to GMP and safety policies.
• Attend plant meetings and complete safety trainings.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
