Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC is seeking team members for the Harvest Floor to disassemble sow carcasses and prepare meat for sausage production. You'll handle carcasses, remove hide and organs, and support the de-boning process while working at line speed.

This role requires adherence to GMP and safety policies, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work in a meat processing environment. High school diploma preferred; drug screen and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and preparing sow carcasses for further sausage processing
• Removing hide and internal organs, trimming, and inspecting the sow's carcass
• Cleaning, sharpening, and maintaining knives, tools and equipment
• Learn and perform several job functions in department at line speed
• Adhere to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and Safety policies
• Attend all plant meetings and complete monthly safety observations and trainings
• Complete all other duties as assigned
