Job summary

Monroechamber is hiring for a Harvest role at a Watertown, Wisconsin facility on the 2nd shift. The position involves working in the Harvest Processing Department, rotating through Level I tasks to support sausage production.

You will operate knives and processing tools following SOPs, maintain line speeds, inspect products for quality, and keep a clean, GMP-compliant workspace. This is an associate-to-hire opportunity with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and reliability in a refrigerated

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Ability to rotate between workstations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment with GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in the Harvest Processing Department, rotating through Level I positions.
• Safely remove meat from carcasses for sausage production.
• Operate processing knives and tools per SOPs and safety rules.
• Maintain production line speeds while upholding quality and yield targets.
• Inspect products and report defects to supervisors.
• Notify leads of equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow SOPs, training, and GMP/sanitation requirements.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and support department goals.

Position Title: Harvest - 2nd Shift Wage: $22.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 1:40pm - 10:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Harvest role for a company in Watertown, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity on 2nd shift.

Harvest Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks within the Harvest Processing Department, rotating through multiple Level I positions as assigned
• Safely and efficiently remove meat from carcasses for further processing into finished sausage products
• Operate motorized knives, straight-edge knives, and other processing tools in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements
• Maintain required production line speeds while meeting quality and yield standards
• Inspect products during processing and report any quality concerns, defects, or abnormalities to team leaders or supervisors
• Promptly notify team leaders and/or maintenance personnel of equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or operational issues
• Follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training requirements
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and sanitation requirements at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
• Support department production goals through reliable attendance, teamwork, and flexibility in job assignments

Requirements for Harvest

• Previous manufacturing, food production, meat processing, or industrial experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to learn multiple job functions and rotate between workstations
• Ability to safely use knives and other processing equipment
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform continuous physical activities in a production environment
• Ability to work in a refrigerated food-processing environment and around moving machinery
