Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Satellite Harness Engineering Specialist to design and release harness CAD models in NX, qualify interconnects, and develop new fabrication methods across our satellite configurations.

You will work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced aerospace environment, with emphasis on reliability, standards, and clear communication. The role may require shift hours, lifting, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or similar field required or 3+ years harnessing experience.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD harnessing/routing design in NX or similar.
• Experience with electrical/optical harnessing processes and tooling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and release harness design solutions in a 3D NX CAD environment.
• Adhere to and improve internal design standards and requirements.
• Generate electrical schematics for flight and qualification designs.
• Test harnessing for mechanical and electrical qualification.
• Triage non-conforming interconnect products and drive resolutions.
• Develop tooling and methods for fabricating electrical/optical harnesses.
