Job summary

Harper College Community Music and Arts Center is seeking a harmonica instructor to provide private lessons to children and adults. The position is expected to start in Spring 2026, in-person, with both private and group classes, and may include weekend teaching.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of harmonica and successful prior teaching experience.
• Experience and passion for working with various age groups.
• Ability to communicate ideas and concepts and demonstrate playing techniques to students of different ages.
• Must have a solid commitment to teaching and a genuine interest in lifelong musical development.
• Must be responsive to inquiries about harmonica lessons and willing to call potential and current students to follow up.
