Job summary

Bay Area Community Services (BACS) is seeking a Substance Use Coordinator to deliver harm-reduction based services at our Regis Recovery Unit in Hayward, CA. You will engage individuals and families, conduct needs assessments, and help coordinate with SUD treatment teams across the Bay Area.

The role emphasizes non-judgmental support, effective documentation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to meet care plan goals and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Certified SUD/behavioral health professional preferred.
• Experience navigating social services systems and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Provide harm-reduction based direct services on-site.
• Conduct needs assessments and develop care plans.
• Coordinate with hospitals, clinics and ancillary services.
