Job summary

The PDA is based in Seattle, WA, and seeks an Outreach Coordinator to contact and engage with individuals living outside, employing harm-reduction methods. You will coordinate referrals to shelter and other services, build relationships with community partners, and contribute to program reporting and housing placement efforts.

Ideal candidates will have experience with mental health and substance use disorders, trauma-informed care, and the ability to train staff while managing case information

Qualifications

• Experience working in programs serving individuals with mental health disabilities and substance use disorder.
• Clinical training or expertise in behavioral health.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff from various backgrounds.
• Current Washington State Driver’s License and auto insurance.
• Ability to oversee and train staff to utilize and track participant progress in an electronic case management system.
• Lived experience with criminal legal systems is a plus (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed outreach and linkage to appropriate care for unsheltered individuals.
• Coordinate referrals from outreach to shelter, temporary lodging, or other service resources.
• Engage with community partners, businesses, and government entities to coordinate a system response.
• Provide data and reports per contract requirements.
• Collaborate with Housing Case Manager for housing placement assessments.
• Support overall program coordination and outreach activities.
