Berkshire Medical Center in Berkshire County is seeking a Harm Reduction Specialist & Care Navigator to provide outreach and education to individuals who use drugs. You will implement overdose prevention education, distribute naloxone, and offer safer injection guidance within a trauma-informed, non-stigmatizing framework.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of Harm Reduction principles and practices.
• Experience with substance use disorder.
• At least 2 years of direct service experience in harm reduction, peer support, healthcare navigation, or related fields.
• High school diploma required; must complete mandatory training required by DPH and BMC.
• Associate’s degree in Social Work, Public Health or Human Services preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide outreach and education to individuals who use drugs.

• Assist with healthcare navigation, care coordination, referrals, and follow-up.
