Job summary

Base is seeking a Hardware TPM Intern to support our hardware team by managing and tracking hardware parts for engineering builds. You will work closely with engineers and procurement to keep parts on schedule and help unblock issues that surface during builds.

The role emphasizes establishing systematic tracking from order to deployment, flagging shortages, and driving process improvements. This internship is a hands-on entry point into battery hardware development.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory or parts tracking workflows.
• Ability to coordinate across engineering and procurement teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track inventory of hardware parts and materials for engineering builds.
• Track build issues and help unblock problems between engineering and external teams.
• Coordinate with Hardware Engineering and Procurement to ensure timely ordering and delivery.
• Implement and maintain a systematic tracking process from order to deployment.
• Identify and flag potential shortages or delays and communicate risks to the team.
• Support continuous improvement of parts management and inventory control processes.
