Job summary

Joby Aviation is seeking a motivated TPM intern to support the powertrain and electronics propulsion TPM team this summer, with projects across actuator and ground charging equipment teams. • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field
• Heading into junior or senior year of undergraduate degree or above
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills, both written and executive presentation

Responsibilities

• Assist the powertrain and electronicstechnical program management team in driving the organization towards type-certification
• Facilitatethe design-improvement cycle between design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and testing teams
• Serve as the asset manager for development hardware, from test assets that require specific documentation to demo charging equipment positioned globally
• Track and manage spare parts and equipment inventories as needed
• Identify dependencies and timelines for equipment upgrades around technical and operational constraints
• Accelerate project maturity by identifying and implementing strategies for de-scoping or accelerating critical path tasks
• Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to expedite critical-path priorities and communicate their downstream program implications
