Job summary

Zebra Technologies Corporation is seeking a Supervisor Engineering Technician- Hardware Labs in Holtsville, NY. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, supervise technicians, and ensure timely, high-quality test activities for new product development in a fast-paced hardware lab environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, documentation, and collaboration with mechanical, electrical, RF, and EMI domains, with a requirement to work five days a week on-site in Holtsville, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline is required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on lab experience in a hardware test lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Core function: assist in design, construction, test and checkout of test equipment; document results for product evaluation reports.
• Direct supervision of one or more engineering technicians; coach and develop staff in engineering support activities.
• Hands-on technical contribution to test setup, execution, and troubleshooting of prototype electro-mechanical systems.
• Role requires 5-days per week in Holtsville, NY office.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
