Job summary

Zebra is seeking an Electrical Engineer II for the Advanced Data Capture group in Holtsville, NY. The role requires 3 days in our Holtsville office and 2 days remote (US).

You will join a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and test new data capture products, collaborating with Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Optical and Manufacturing Engineers. This position involves schematic entry, circuit development, component selection, prototyping, and testing with standard lab equipment, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of engineering or related technical experience.
• Experience with electronic hardware design.
• Experience with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test data capture products as part of a collaborative team.
• Interface with Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Optical and Manufacturing Engineers.
• Review test results and analyze root causes to identify problems.
• Prototype at component or circuit level to verify design requirements.
• Document test requirements and results to ISO 9000 standards.
• Support testing and improve existing designs for performance gains.
