Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline required.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience required.
• Experience in hardware test labs in ISO-regulated environment with document control, calibration tracking and audit prep.
• Strong leadership and management abilities with emphasis on teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of EHS guidelines, safety protocols and hazardous material handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment.
• Debug defects and document tests for evaluation reports.
• Maintain documentation of test operations and report results to engineering.
• Identify actual or potential problems in test plans or products.
• Demonstrate understanding of development processes and product launch scope.
• Monitor progress against deliverables and report to the design team.
• Directly supervise one or more engineering technicians.
• Coach and develop technicians in fundamentals of engineering support activities.
• Perform complex test setup, execution, and troubleshooting of prototype systems.
