Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks an experienced Hardware Test & Integration Manager to lead the Prototyping and Integration team, overseeing Testing, Mechanical DVT and Electromechanical Integration for prototype hardware.

You will set metrics, define team structures, hire and grow talent, and align priorities with program leadership to deliver quality results on a demanding aerospace program in the Los Angeles area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 10+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience managing engineers/technicians incl. hiring and performance.
• Experience establishing engineering processes and metrics.
• Proven track record moving hardware through DVT/PVT in prototype environments.
• Experience releasing hardware designs and documentation in PLM.

Responsibilities

• Lead Testing, Mechanical DVT, and Electromechanical Integration functions.
• Define metrics, goals, and long-term strategy for hardware development and qualification.
• Direct electromechanical integration work including harnessing and PCB fabrication.
• Own configuration control and change management for hardware via PLM.
• Establish workflows, SLAs, and cross-pillar prioritization across teams.
• Drive process improvement and operational excellence across the three functions.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and program engineering upstream.
• Serve as escalation point for blockers and resource conflicts.
