Job summary

Cricut is seeking an experienced Associate Manager, HW Test Engineering to lead a small team in hardware quality engineering. The role blends hands-on test execution with day-to-day leadership, driving test strategy, planning, and data analysis across the product lifecycle.

You will mentor engineers and testers, develop robust test plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product readiness and quality across EVT/DVT stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field related to hardware.
• 6+ years of post-graduate hardware testing or quality experience.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or supervising engineers or lab staff.
• Strong hands-on problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Experience developing hardware test plans from requirements.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small hardware test team including engineers and testers.
• Develop, execute, and review hardware test plans for products.
• Prioritize daily test activities, data collection, and reporting.
• Perform root-cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
• Communicate defect data, risks, and quality metrics to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and QA to validate designs and readiness.
• Maintain test equipment, lab organization, and calibration needs.
