Job summary

Cricut is seeking a Senior Systems Quality Engineer to own system-level quality across hardware, firmware, software, and manufacturing for cutting machines and heated products. You will lead testing, risk analysis, and CAPA actions while partnering closely with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams.

The role requires hands-on lab work, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with ODM/JDM partners to ensure product readiness from prototype to mass production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field such as mechanical/electrical/computer systems.
• 8+ years hands-on experience in quality, hardware test, reliability, or systems testing.
• Experience with electromechanical products and complex systems.
• Ability to lead cross-functional investigations and implement CAPA actions.
• Proven ability to design and execute system-level validation, DFMEA/PFMEA, and reliability tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system-level test plans for electromechanical products.
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, software, and manufacturing issues to identify root causes.
• Validate complete Cricut systems including device behavior, app-to-device workflows, and calibration.
• Analyze test data and field trends to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Lead or support 8D investigations, CAPA actions, and corrective/preventive improvements.
• Collaborate with ODM/JDM partners to ensure quality across development and production.
• Create and maintain test reports, risk summaries, and failure analyses.
