Job summary

Cricut is seeking an experienced Associate Manager, HW Test Engineering to lead a small hardware quality test team and contribute as a hands-on tester. You will develop, execute, and review hardware test plans, analyze results, and drive root‑cause analysis across EVT, DVT, and MP stages.

You will mentor engineers, testers, and lab personnel while collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on hardware testing, quality engineering, or reliability testing experience.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers, testers, or lab personnel.
• Strong mechanical problem-solving and data-driven thinking.
• Experience developing and executing hardware test plans from requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a small hardware quality test team, including engineers and technicians.
• Develop, execute, and review hardware test plans for new and existing products.
• Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and drive root-cause analysis across development stages.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to validate designs and readiness.
• Maintain lab equipment, procedures, and documentation; ensure data integrity and safety.
• Communicate defect, risk, and improvement data to cross-functional teams.
