Job summary

Cricut is seeking an experienced Associate Manager, HW Test Engineering to lead a small hardware test team and contribute directly to test strategy, planning, and execution. This role blends hands-on testing with day-to-day leadership to ensure product quality across EVT/DVT stages.

You will mentor engineers and testers, drive root-cause analysis, and communicate quality risks to cross-functional teams throughout development. In-office role with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Six+ years post-graduate hands-on hardware testing or quality engineering experience.
• Leadership or mentoring experience in a technical team.
• Experience with hardware test planning, execution, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small hardware quality test team (engineers and testers).
• Develop, execute, and review hardware test plans for products.
• Analyze test data and report defects, risks, and quality improvements.
• Conduct root-cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why, or Fishbone methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate designs and readiness.
• Maintain test equipment, lab organization, and documentation.
