Job summary

Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi) is seeking a dynamic Test Engineer with Hardware expertise to develop and test advanced optical and optoelectronic components. You will contribute to R&D and production testing for modules including III-V detectors and related devices.

You will design test capabilities, automate test processes, and work across cross-functional teams to ensure high reliability and performance of quantum photonics products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years as a test engineer, testing optoelectronic devices.
• Experience scripting and running test software for optical components and systems
• Hands-on with lab equipment for optoelectronic device testing
• Strong DOE and failure analysis knowledge
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Develop testbeds to evaluate optoelectronic chips, components and modules
• Support design, prototyping and delivery of proof-of-concept devices
• Apply DOE and failure analysis to optimize optical performance
• Create automated test strategies for production environments
• Organize test data storage and retrieval and analyze results
• Support optical design and product development with cross-functional teams
• Drive continuous improvement in development and production testing
