Actalent is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer II in Orlando, FL to support development, validation, and continuous improvement of advanced hardware and embedded systems. You will design test strategies and build automated test solutions, generating engineering data to guide product decisions.

You will collaborate with electrical, optical, mechanical, software, firmware, and manufacturing engineers, using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, and C++ to automate tests and improve reliability.

Competenze

• Bachelor- or higher-level degree in an engineering or physics field.
• Experience with hardware test development and validation is expected.
• Proficiency in designing test plans and procedures.

Mansioni

• Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and validation protocols based on product requirements.
• Define acceptance criteria and verification methodologies for electrical, optical, mechanical, environmental, and system-level testing.
• Support DVT, EVT, PVT, and product qualification activities.
• Perform verification, validation, reliability, and performance testing on complex hardware systems.
• Design and build lab fixtures, test stations, and automated test equipment (ATE).
• Develop automated test solutions and data acquisition using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, C++, and related tools.
• Collect and analyze test data using statistical methods and report findings to leadership.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate solutions and improve manufacturability.
