Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Test Engineer II for a temporary assignment to support increased demand. You will design and implement hardware/software solutions for engineering test systems and validate product performance through comprehensive test plans.

You will collaborate with design engineers across the product lifecycle, developing innovative test solutions aligned with product architectures and test platforms, enabling efficient verification and validation and advancing toward senior

Qualifications

2–5 years in test, calibration, data acquisition, automation, or system validation in engineering/manufacturing.
Experience with C#/.NET and LabVIEW for test software development.
Ability to learn new languages, environments, tools quickly.
Basic SQL database concepts and UI/front-end development knowledge.
Familiarity with sensors, measurement principles, and electronics.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software for calibration, testing, and validation of products.
Integrate and automate test equipment to support development and manufacturing.
Create project schedules and plans for test software, fixtures, and system integration.
Develop verification and validation plans based on specs and standards.
Execute tests, analyze results, troubleshoot, and document results.
Assist deployment of test systems and provide training to staff.
Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams.
Drive improvements to test system reliability and scalability.
Travel as needed for system implementation and training.
